In newly built houses it is important to have a stove that is not too over powering, even 5kW can be too much for a well-insulated or airtight room. This is where Woodfire step in, they have created a range of feature rich, contemporary boiler stoves with this scenario in mind. The CXC12 combines a low 1.8kW heat output to room with 9kW heating for water. An incredible 82% efficiency is achieved in the firebox as primary, secondary and tertiary air are used to maximise the heat obtained from the fuel.

When connected to direct air this can be automated with the optional thermostatic direct air regulator, this operates using a damper in the external air supply which is set to achieve a certain temperature.
The stylish CXC12 contains a spacious firebox, perfect for larger logs and it’s all viewable through a sizable airwashed front facing window giving an excellent view of the flames. At the top of the stove is a warming shelf, this can be useful for keeping your tea warm or placing a humidifier.

The CXC12 is a very attractive boiler stove which can run up to 8 radiators, enough to heat a mid-sized home under condition that it is energy efficient and well-insullated. Also, it is important to keep in mind that only a fraction of the heat produced is delivered to the room in which it is installed. I would recommend it to all who are looking for a stylish, efficient and practical boiler stove and live in a relatively new building.
