We loved the CL range's subtle good looks as soon as we saw them – and so did lots of our customers. The compact CL3's super-controllable 2 to 5kW heat output range makes it a very versatile stove for the smaller room, or well-insulated home, where there's a requirement for a regular lower output. The CL3 features a modern stainless steel self-locking handle with a distinctly positive action that makes it very user friendly, especially if you don't happen to have brick-layers' hands. Slider controls for primary air (mineral fuel) and secondary air (wood) provide subtle control over the combustion rate and the tertiary air system helps put the CL3 in the top end of stove efficiencies. The CL3 sits on a gently curved integral cast iron plinth (with levelling system) so dust and ash can't gather underneath the stove. An unfussy and totally functional well-made stove.
Make sure that you specify if you are using the rear flue option as the curved cast iron decor-top for the rear flue option comes as a neat one-piece with no unsightly blanked flue opening.

We have had this stove for almost a year and we are extremely satisfied with it. We decided for a British-made stove because the last stove we had was a cheap import that didn't last one season. This time we decided to invest in quality and the difference is obvious at the first sight. And there is a big difference in heat too, not to mention in the amount of fuel burnt. It is no exaggeration to say that we burn up to one third less fuel than in our previous stove and at the same time feel a lot warmer.
