Wood Burning Stoves

As you'd expect from our name, you can choose from the biggest range of traditional or contemporary styled wood burning-only stove models, including Defra Approved stoves which will allow you to burn wood legally in a Smoke Control Area. In this section we only show stoves that we would call 'pure' log burners – that is, stoves with a bottom grate configuration which make it more difficult to efficiently burn other fuels, particularly coal. Of course, you can also burn wood, as well as coal or peat, in a multi fuel stove too and this is what most people still do, while also keeping their other fuel options open.
