The Dunsley Highlander 5 Stove is the smaller alternative to the Highlander 7 and 8 models. Despite its smaller size, however, the multi-fuel stove features the same technology and solutions for superior combustion including the exceptionally powerful Airwash and shaker gate. It also has the same range of fuels and even the same finish and handle - brass finish but also available are optional black and polished steel finish.

In addition to being smaller in size, the Highlander 5 also differs from the larger models in the Highlander range for having only one door for re-fuelling and ash removal. As a result, no additional measures are necessary to prevent over-firing. As mentioned above, the stove also features the Airwash system for crystal clear glass window. It has the capacity to produce up to 5kW of heat and has the efficiency up to 80% (with wood). It is available with optional log store and 2kW stainless steel boiler.

We had the Highlander 5 installed six months ago and so far so good. It effectively heats our not so big living room and continues to emit heat for quite some time after the fire is out. When the outside temperatures are not extremely low, the room stays warm until the morning. It's a handsome and well performing stove. And reasonably priced too!

Wish I'd bought this years ago! Warms up room almost immediately. Two separate controls give good control over how quick the logs burn. We haven't tried it with coal yet because the logs give out more than enough heat for us. I would recommend this stove to anyone and it is a quality British product. Best thing we purchased this year.
