Charnwood's perennially best-selling small wood burning & multi-fuel stove, the Country 4, has a well-deserved reputation for providing outstanding value for money without cutting corners on build-quality and performance. With a nominal output just below 5kW it can crank out more than enough heat for a typical living room – with some to spare. It's robustly made with gentle curves and subtle detailing, as you'd expect from Britain's premier stovemaker, and it offers a much bigger view of the fire than most 5kW stoves. If your fireplace or hearth depth is an issue, then at only 242mm deep, this is one of the slimmest stoves you can buy. Even with the rear flue box option added it's still only just 410mm deep – highly recommended if you must use a rear flue.

The Country 4's fire chamber is lined with space-saving protective steel plate which allows it to easily accommodate logs between 10" and 12" long. In addition Charnwood's highly controllable clean burn combustion and air wash system means that the Country 4 is easy to light and will burn highly efficiently (at 81.2%) whilst at the same time keeping the glass perfectly clear. This is purely a wood burning stove so you don't get, or actually need, a fire grate or ash pan, thus making the Charnwood Country 4 very affordable, even when you add in your choice of optional extras.

I would recommend the Charnwood Country 4 to anyone who is looking for a quality wood burning / multi-fuel stove at an affordable price. It is small, sleek and chic but what is most important of all, it provides plenty of heat and is very efficient. My wife is also thrilled with the large glass window providing a fantastic view of the fire. And since the stove features the air wash technology, the glass is very easy to keep clean and clear. The last but not the least important, I was very happy with your service too! Thanks a lot for your help (and patience with me) in the selection of the best stove for my home!
